Safe Flight AutoPower® Being Offered on Citation X

White Plains, NY (October 15, 2010) — AutoPower^®, Safe Flight’s Automatic Throttle System (ATS) is under development and currently being offered as a retrofit on the Cessna Citation X through a contract with the Cessna Service Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Development hardware has been qualified and delivered with first flight scheduled to take place in the 4th quarter of 2010 and certification expected in early 2011.

Safe Flight’s ATS will be certified under a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) by the Cessna Service Center and will be available for installation on production aircraft as well as on a retrofit basis to existing in-service Citation X operators.
